Facial Recognition Identity Verification

I designed content and the user experience for this new identity verification process.

Introducing unfamiliar biometric technology required careful explanation to build trust and minimize friction.

I collaborated with the security and UX team to write clear, privacy-conscious instructions and messaging.

I used plain language to explain the why and how of facial recognition, designed supportive microcopy, and created fallback messages for failed verifications.

The process received positive user feedback and reduced verification abandonment rates.
